What is it? 🤔

Lohri marks the end of the coldest winter days in Punjab. Families gather around a bonfire, sing and share sweets.

Traditions 🎊

  • ✨Light a bonfire (with grown-ups) and walk around it.
  • ✨Throw popcorn, peanuts and rewri into the fire as thanks.
  • ✨Kids go door to door singing "Sunder mundriye ho!": a song about the hero Dulla Bhatti.
  • ✨Families celebrate a baby's first Lohri or a new wedding extra big.
