Nyårsafton

New Year's Eve

📅 31 December ⏳ 56 days to go

What is it? 🤔

We say goodbye to the old year and hello to the new one with a party, fireworks and a countdown at midnight.

Traditions 🎊

  • ✨Count down together: 10, 9, 8 … GOTT NYTT ÅR!
  • ✨Watch fireworks (keep a safe distance and protect your ears).
  • ✨On TV, the poem "Ring, klocka, ring" is read from Skansen in Stockholm just before midnight.
  • ✨Make a new year's promise (nyårslöfte).

Let's make it: Paper party hat and wish jar ✂️

You need

  • ☑️ Card
  • ☑️ Stickers and glitter
  • ☑️ String
  • ☑️ A clean jar

Tip: tap a step when you've done it! Always ask a grown-up to help with scissors, ovens and anything hot.
