Easter in Sweden has witches! On Skärtorsdagen kids dress up as påskkärringar (Easter witches) and go door to door.
Traditions 🎊
- ✨Dress up as an Easter witch with a headscarf, freckles and red cheeks.
- ✨Give neighbours a drawing (påskbrev) and get sweets back.
- ✨Decorate birch twigs with colourful feathers, påskris.
- ✨Paint eggs and hunt for a big paper egg filled with sweets.
